- Prospective for unconformity hosted uranium deposits associated with graphitic pelitic metasediments near the unconformity with sandstone of the Athabasca Group.
- Substantial database of past exploration by UEM Inc., Cameco Corporation, Saskatchewan Mining Development Corporation and Imperial Oil Limited.
- Past exploration includes Geotem airborne ground geophysical surveying, geochemical sampling and diamond drilling totalling 2,404 metres in four holes.
- Seventeen Geotem electromagnetic conductors with a total strike length of eighty kilometers have been discovered on Hook Project property. Three of these conductors have been drill tested.
- Western one third of the property has received minimal exploration.
- Drill hole DER-04, 4.5 kilometres southwesterly from the central property boundary intersected 0.24 per cent U3O8 over 2.5 metres; this intersection in hole DER-04 is associated with conductors striking onto Hook Project property.
- Athabasca sandstone thickness ranges from close to zero in the south part of the property to about 600 metres in the north.
- Hook property adjoins property owned by Cameco Corporation and UEM Inc to the south.
- Land position of 52,716 hectares, (130,264 acres).
Exploration 2005-2006
An exploration program designed for the Hook Project will consist of airborne, geophysical, electromagnetic and mag surveys with a 200 meter line spacing, boulder sampling to map alteration pattern associated with "blind" unconformity-type uranium deposits and exploration drilling.
