ESO Uranium Corp. Welcomes Anthony Harvey As Chairman And Director |

Vancouver, Canada, November 8, 2006: ESO Uranium Corp. ("ESO" or "the Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Anthony Harvey to the position of Director and Chairman of the Board.
Mr. Harvey has over forty years of hands on experience in the mining industry, providing management services to numerous international mining projects with capital costs exceeding $400 million.
For thirty years, Mr. Harvey was with Wright Engineers Ltd. -- Fluor Daniels in various management positions, and was involved in the design and construction of 14 mines worldwide on behalf of major mining companies.
Mr. Harvey was the Founder, President and Chairman of Azco Mining Inc. (AZC:TSX/AMEX), former Chairman and Director of Lake Shore Gold Corp. (LSG:TSX.V), past Chairman and Director of Oremex Resources Inc. (ORM: TSX.V) and currently Director of Terra Energy Corp. (TTR:TSX.V).
Mr. Harvey's extensive knowledge and experience in all facets of the mining industry adds significant depth to ESO's Board of Directors.
The Company also announces that Mr. Larry Whitehead has resigned as Director and CFO and extends its appreciation for his past contributions.
